This year hasn't been
an active chase season for me,
although there were some decent setups. Most
striking was
the outbreak of
supercells on
July 21
st,
but as I was in
the Amsterdam
ArenA attending the 360° concert of U2 (
the best concert I ever
visited!), I
wasn't able to chase these
storms.
This month has been rather dry in the Low Countries, but my girlfriend Myra and I did a small chase last week, on August 20th.
Yesterday a cold polar air-mass invaded the country and a short wave trough induced many squally showers and thunderstorms!
