Longest Tornado Drought in 20 Years for Kansas

"Back on Thursday April 22nd a tornado was reported in Western Kansas. This was the first tornado reported in Kansas for 2010. Prior to this tornado, the last tornado reported in Kansas was back on August 2nd 2009. This results in 262 days in which Kansas did not report a tornado, which is the longest tornado drought in 20 years."
